Students choose the Academies and Activities they want to do when they arrive at Whitgift on Sunday. which is our arrival day. The only exception is Golf, Horse Riding and Fencing, which must be selected before arrival.
Academies include four 90-minute sessions of specialist training with professional coaches and teachers each week. Our Multi-Activity course gives students the chance to chose two different activities each week.

On the first day, all students take part in a placement test which will determine their language level. The classes are multi-national to encourage constant use of the language. Students are divided into 2 groups, the Middle School, ages 11 – 14 and the Senior School, ages 14 – 16.
The teachers are qualified and certified in teaching English to students as a foreign language. At the end of the programme students receive a Certificate of Attendance and an award ceremony is held for the most academically bright students.
The educational programme is accredited and certified by reputable audit institutions of Great Britain.

Whitgift is a superb public (private) school founded in 1600. It runs its own summer courses making use of its marvellous facilities and new boarding school.
It offers an inventive program that aims to attract young people from around the globe and is designed to develop their confidence and achieve fluency in English. T
he language courses are complemented by a thrilling variety of sporting events, fun activities and proactive creativity.
The school looks onto the campus’ distinguishing feature, an extraordinary garden. It is on a beautiful estate in South London, in easy reach of some of the world’s prime tourist attractions.

London is the capital of Great Britain and the largest city in Europe. With its 43 universities London is a leading European and global destination for higher education. Its sights are countless! In a recent survey, the top ten most visited attractions are the British Museum, National Gallery, Natural History Museum, Tate Modern, London Eye, Science Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, Tower of London, Royal Museums Greenwich and Madame Tussaud's.
That is not to overlook Buckingham Palace, the British Parliament, the wonderful Hyde Park, St. James Park & Regents Park, the various cathedrals dotted around the city, the fabulous theatres invariably staging exceptional performances, the innumerable shops and shopping centres that cater daily to thousands of casual buyers and shopaholics. Then, there are the enticing areas of Covent Garden, Kensington, Notting Hill, Soho, and Mayfair with restaurants, eateries, teashops, coffee bars, open-air flea markets and, of course, the city’s iconic landmark, the inimitable Big Ben.
We have no doubt not mentioned dozens of other interesting places.
Accommodation, Whitgift School, London
Accommodation: Accommodation halls were renovated in October 2013. Rooms are 1-3 bedded with private toilet and shower facilities. There is also a sitting area for students to socialise.
The rooms have a desk with chair and wardrobe with storage space for the students’ personal belongings. Towels and bed linen are provided.
The accommodation buildings are equipped with electronic lock while rooms and apartments lock with each student’s key to ensure the highest possible security.
Meal plan: The programme offers three meals daily (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at the University restaurant. It’s self-service. On the day of the full-day excursion breakfast and dinner will be offered at the restaurant and lunch will be provided as packed.
- Use of internet is possible in the accommodation halls.
Entertainment at Whitgift School, London
A full and varied programme of sports, cultural and art activities takes place in the campus areas. This is another great opportunity for students to use the English language and also to have fun and get to know their peers from other countries.
The social programme is organised by the staff of the organisation and includes sports, team games (quiz nights, disco parties and treasure hunt) and cultural outings so get ready to party & fun!
Due to the campus location, additional visits to the numerous attractions can be arranged on demand.
