The LIPC offers courses to students who wish to prepare fully for university entrance to either undergraduate or postgraduate studies. These programmes are for students who have not yet all the necessary qualifications to gain entry to higher education and in particular those required by the University of De Montfort.
LIPC is located in the heart of the University of De Montfort premises. LIPC students’, as upcoming students to the university, can make full use of all the relevant facilities such as the library, the gym, the bookstore, cafés and computer rooms.
Classes are held in small groups by experienced teachers, giving students the opportunity to enjoy excellent academic level of teaching and support towards the successful completion of the university preparation programmes.
Leicester is the 10th largest urban conglomerate in the UK and also a safe and welcoming city in the heart of England. Roughly an hour by train from London, it is a hub for industry and culture and a popular destination from around the globe. In recent years, major infrastructure projects have cemented the city’s strategic position in the world of art, education and trade.
The many students in Leicester have contributed to the growth of many clubs, bars and pubs as well as places for live cultural action, such as music and other art forms. The Leicester Comedy Festival is among the most long-standing of its kind in Europe. The Curve is one of Britain’s most contemporary regional theatres, staging noteworthy productions.
Leicester is also a leading destination for shopaholics. Highcross shopping centre hosts the top fashion brands while small exquisite boutiques of every kind, nestle in historic Leicester Lanes. As for Leicester Market, it is Europe's largest outdoor covered market.
